Warzone expert unearths game-changing movement trick with hidden Season 5 changes

Warzone expert IceManIsaac has discovered a Season 5 move trick that can change everything except negate fall damage.

Chapter 5 is no exception, and while the patch notes for each chapter are often quite extensive, the developers sometimes leave out some important details. This is where Warzone’s greatest masters come into play and spend hours meticulously testing hidden secrets.

With season five taking center stage, IceManIsaac has begun his investigation. What he discovered is probably “one of the craziest work mechanics in the history of the war zone.”

After spending several hours “testing every variable,” he announced his results on July 30, revealing secret changes in fall damage that were not explained in the latest correction notes.

“I don’t know if it’s broken,” Isaac said, before going into the smallest details. In other words, fall damage was secretly changed in the Season 5 patch. A fall from 13 meters used to kill you, but now you can fall up to 16 meters.

That might not sound like a big game-changer, but adding the Mountaineer feature makes it even crazier. “The fall definitely hurt, but the climber got a buff to boot,” Isaac revealed.

Players can withstand a 34-meter fall by incorporating a climber into their equipment. This is an increase of 8 meters compared to the previous ceiling of 26 meters. Obviously, this has a significant impact on moment-to-moment gameplay.

“With the map, you can now jump from anywhere without even thinking about it,” says Isaac. It’s like playing them [Apex Legends].

IceManIsaac has discovered another game-changer, this time in a Warzone move.

However, elevation differences only scratch the surface. The real revelation came when Isaac realized that fall damage is calculated based not only on height, but also on speed.

By changing the landing angle, you can now survive a serious fall without opening your parachute. “You can climb 100 meters without having to worry about pulling the gutter,” admitted Isaac.

All you have to do is lean back during the free fall. As long as you keep your hands up, you will be safe and able to survive even blind heights. At the moment, no one knows if this is intentional or if it is a bug that was fixed with the Season 5 patch.

Activision hasn’t worked on the motion technology yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know if anything changes.
