Realme launched the GT Neo6 back in May, and it’s already preparing for the release of its successor, the GT Neo7. According to a tipster on Weibo, the launch timeline for the GT Neo7 has been expedited.
The GT Neo7 is rumored to feature a “1.5K” flat “gaming” display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, which has been dominating AnTuTu benchmarks for some time. It is expected to come with a large battery and support for 100W fast wired charging.
While it’s not clear what is meant by a “gaming screen,” it may imply a refresh rate of 144 Hz, making the device particularly appealing to gamers, especially given its utilization of the higher-binned Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The Realme GT Neo7 is anticipated to launch before the end of the year and is expected to be priced very competitively compared to upcoming devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which will likely come at a premium for utilizing the latest technology.
