OpTic Gaming’s Kenneth “Kenny” Williams had an early chance to play Call of Duty Black Ops 6, but the Call of Duty League pro team found the new diving and shooting mechanics too powerful.
During an OpTic Gaming GameChat podcast episode, Kenny claimed that the diving and shooting mechanics in CoD Black Ops 6 were weak. He gave the example of a player who was attacked in a corridor and was quickly killed by an enemy entering a room.
“Now you can dive and shoot,” Kenny said. I told him that the other POV dives were too fast and he should be nervous. ”
Amer “Pard” Zulbari agreed and expressed concern that experts might decide to release the feature as GA. GA stands for “Gentleman’s Agreement,” which occurs when professional players agree to ban something from the CDL.
“You can tell diving and shooting are great because if it’s like it was when we played, it’s broken,” Kenny replied.
As for Omnimovement, Kenny believes everyone will love this new feature and it will be considered one of the best additions in recent history.
As explained in the general blog, the Omni move allows you to glide and dive in any direction at high speed. Combined with the diving and shooting mechanics, the operator has a full 360 degree range of motion.
“I think we’re all going to love everything,” Kenny insisted. “Considering this is what the game was supposed to be all those years ago, and why didn’t we have it all those years?”
Kenny also praised Treyarch for creating a great map for competitive CoD and creating “perfect” kill times without rushing too much. Players will have the opportunity to play the upcoming title in an upcoming beta phase.
Treyarch plans to introduce gameplay to fans in CoD Next on August 28th. The event follows the same format as before and includes live gameplay on 16 new multiplayer maps. Black Ops 6 will officially release on October 24th.
