Jimmy “Mr. Monster” becomes the first YouTuber to reach 300 million subscribers in a month after surpassing Series T to become the most popular channel on the site.

Donaldson’s popularity has grown over the years thanks to his highly produced videos and ongoing collaborations with the biggest influencers on the internet.
June 1, 2024 was the day MrBeast overtook Series T to become the most viewed YouTube channel, and the number continued to grow exponentially in the following weeks.
MrBeast set another record on the Google-owned platform and became the first YouTuber to reach 300 million subscribers on July 10, 2024.
Donaldson celebrated on Twitter/X and shared a screenshot of his follower count in the post.
“I remember being surprised when I hit 300 subscribers 11 years ago…lol,” he said.
Fans flooded MrBeast with supportive comments and congratulated the influencer on his success.
One user replied: “Congratulations Jamie! Well deserved.”
Another person commented: “Congratulations Mr. Monster. No one deserves it more than you.”
A third man said: “This is crazy. Congratulations and thank you for making a positive difference in this world.”
The feat came just days after Donaldson streamed for Twitch star Kai Senat. As a prank, the two set off fireworks that filled the room and convinced fans that Kai’s house had burned down.
Just a day after the stream ended, MrBeast uploaded a video detailing the prank and showing off a near-perfect replica of Kai’s room that he built for the scene.
The YouTuber shared a teaser for an upcoming YouTube video on July 9th. There, they brought together 50 of the internet’s biggest influencers to create a video where the winner would take home $1 million for their fans.
