MrBeast expands online empire by purchasing creator hiring platform

Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is yet another example of how an internet empire continues to build, this time through purchasing ‘Vouch,’ a social networking tool tailored specifically for content creators.

You can’t browse the internet anymore without running into some kind of news or discourse about MrBeast. There must be a reason for that; he’s now YouTube’s most-subscribed creator and just rolled out Lunchable’s competitor with fellow influencers KSI & Logan Paul.

In addition to that, he’s even host of a upcoming game show set to be exclusively premiered on Amazon — and now, he’s taking over the creator space by buying a tool which aims at being a LinkedIn for influencers.

‘Vouch’ is the app looking to connect employees directly to content creators. Job postings on the Twitter/X account of the app show posts such as, ‘The Skorys are hiring an editor,’ or, ‘Anna McNulty is hiring! Editor & Producer.’

For those who wish to get ahead in the industry, Vouch provides a means for them to work with some of the internet’s biggest entertainers, and now, MrBeast stands behind the curtain.

“After an incredible two years of building Vouch, we are proud to announce that we have been acquired by MrBeast,” reads the statement on the company’s website.

“We look forward to continuing our mission of taking the creator economy to new heights by joining the team that never stops doing the impossible.”

As of this writing, Vouch has temporarily halted its application process as it changes hands to one of the internet’s most prominent stars.

News comes as the YouTuber finds himself in another hiring development, having been shot at in October 2024 over a LinkedIn job listing that looked to recruit an AI Concept Artist.

The YouTuber has received backlash from the art world, as one artist demanded he “put a real artist who needs a job on payroll instead of shilling out money for someone to put a prompt into a generator.”.
