MrBeast broke his first day viewership record with his latest video

MrBeast has revealed that a video featuring 50 YouTubers vying for a $1,000,000 prize had the most views in the first 24 hours.

MrBeast claims that 50 YouTubers are competing for $1 million and his channel had over 71 million views on its first day, a new record.

It’s no wonder MrBeast’s videos have caught the attention of millions, especially now that he is the most subscribed YouTube channel with 300 million subscribers.

MrBeast on X said: “The new video is the most viewed video in 24 hours. Without the GTA 6 trailer it would be a world record.”

Viewed directly on YouTube, the video only has 67 million views, a difference of 4 million from what MrBeast reported on the image. So it’s unclear whether MrBeast’s video was viewed 71 million times or 67 million times.

“Over 70 million views in one day is truly amazing,” said content creator Happy Power.

MrBeast recently made headlines not only for reaching 300 million subscribers, but also for his philanthropic efforts to build 100 homes for needy people in third world countries.

This achievement caused strong reactions in the community, which was skeptical about the quality of construction of the houses and did not want people to be used for their opinions.

Not long after, one of the recipients wrote about trying to sell the house that had been gifted to him. However, this was confirmed to be false by the Salvadoran Foreign Minister.

One commenter predicted that 50 YouTubers competing for $1 million could trump Squid Games’ MrBeast video, which has a similar concept.

The Squid Game video is 2 years old and has more than 630 million views, but the latest video has more views within 24 hours and has even been shown to be possible.

However, another commenter pointed out that the view count could increase since the video has a high-profile content creator.

“This is not surprising as all participants are YouTubers with their own fan base,” they said.
