Mike Perry reveals brutal injury Jake Paul caused with first punch of fight

Jake Paul defeated former UFC fighter and bare knuckle boxer Mike Perry by TKO and his opponent showed how much damage his first punch of the fight did.

On July 20, “Problem Child” defeated Mike Perry in 6 rounds, improving his record to 9-1 and making up for his only loss to Tommy Fury by decision.

Perry joined Paul’s podcast to talk about the fight and had kind words for his opponent. He said he “did well” in the fight and that his ribs would take some time to heal.

Perry said Powell’s first punch broke Perry’s ribs and completely changed the course of the fight.

Perry further explained, “Because I knew people were going to be like, ‘Hands up,’ so I’m going to go out and put my hands up like that and open my ribs wide open because you hit my ribs,” and I was like, “That it is.’ You did it.”

However, the BKFC star was proud of his performance and how he stayed in the game despite the injury.

“I fought. I mean, something happened. There were parts of me that I was proud of, but you know, I think it was fair,” she said to applause. In the third round I was able to catch you for a moment, but you were bleeding.

Jake Paul is currently looking forward to his long-awaited fight with Mike Tyson on November 15th. Their match was originally scheduled for July 20, the day of the match against Perry, but was postponed after Iron Mike’s wound flared up. .
