Earlier today, Honor officially announced the launch of a new X60 series smartphone on October 16, and all signs point to this being the Honor X60. Ahead of the official unveiling, hands-on images of the device were leaked on Weibo, offering a sneak peek at its design and key specifications.
Honor X60: Display and Camera Specs
From the leaked images, we learn that the Honor X60 will feature a 6.8-inch display with a 1080×2412 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The main camera is a 108 MP sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, promising sharp and detailed photos, while the 8 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture is designed for selfies and video calls.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Honor X60 will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7025 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other memory and storage variants might be available as well. A 5,800 mAh battery will power the device, supporting 35W fast wired charging. The phone will run Android 14 right out of the box.
Design and Build
In terms of dimensions, the Honor X60 measures 165.98 x 75.8 x 7.88 mm and weighs 189g, making it slightly taller, wider, thinner, and heavier compared to its predecessor, the Honor X50, which launched in July 2023. However, the X60’s screen resolution is lower than the X50, and it comes with a different chipset, swapping out the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 for the Dimensity 7025.
Honor X60 Pro Expected to Outshine the Standard Model
According to the source of the leak, the standard Honor X60 model has been intentionally downgraded in certain areas to ensure that the upcoming Honor X60 Pro stands out even more. This means that the Pro version is likely to feature more powerful hardware and additional premium features.
Stay tuned for the official announcement on October 16 to get the full details on the Honor X60 series.
