Xiaomi is set to unveil its 15 and 15 Pro smartphones on October 20 at an event in China. Recently, leaked renders have provided a first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro, showcasing the device in three colors: black, white, and silver, along with a special titanium edition.
The design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s rear is quite similar to that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which was released last year. The main difference is that the LED flash array has been relocated outside of the camera island.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display made by TCL, with a “2K” resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, along with options for up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The device will include a Leica-branded triple rear camera system, consisting of a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.3″ sensor and f/1.4 aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP 5x telemacro camera with a minimum focus distance of 30cm. For selfies, there will be a 32 MP front camera.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Pro is expected to come with five major Android updates, satellite connectivity exclusive to the titanium edition, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
